Friday Farting Fun!
Enjoy this oldie but goodie…
Grasshopper Hacker
This has been pretty fun for me so far so I thought I would share it with my Snowbrain brethren.
Speaking of the Matrix 2: Reloaded…
This gentleman has a unique review and one that in some ways, I agree with.

He also has a fascinating website overall. Kudos, mon frère.]

Enter the Matrix
I bought “Enter the Matrix” this weekend for my PS2.
Very easy to control and the learning curve is approx. 5minutes.
You basically beat the PISS outta everyone with “Focus” or Bullet Time enabled.
But the best part about it, is that once you save a game, you can Hack your saved game using old school dos commands. Which means, once you learn a hack, I can go into my saved game and drop weapons anywhere I want so the next time I have to go back into that level, these weapons will be sitting there for my disposal.
Pick it up!!
Well…more like Solaris…
The SuSE 7.3 release for the SPARC architecture hasn’t been updated in over a year (hi there, Mr. Hacker - care to use some of my free proc and disk space?), Gentoo is waaaaaay to difficult to compile for SPARC64 (technote: write your own compiler before you attempt this - yay), and FreeBSD doesn’t like my video card (fuckin’ Berkeley hippies). So, I am back to trying out Solaris 9 (UT3 released 4/03). Nobody wants to write code for SPARC64 but Sun. SO BE IT. However, of interest is a large assortment of free Linux utilities that they are supplying with this release. Basically, I’ve tried to run the middle-of-the-road with Linux on Sparc64. It’s too damn hard to figure out (yeah, I’ll just cook up a driver that supports my aging PCI-based ATI card). I’m going to give the Solaris release another go and try to install Tomcat and Oracle later this year with a little help from some friends at work. First thing is to try to get a sane desktop manager installed, cause CDE gives me the runs. More to follow at a later time…or maybe I’ll just burn the Sun box and serve my site on OSX??? ![]()
Having a bad day?
Consider this…
