CipherSaber Works!

September 24, 2003 · Posted in Projects

After a LONG drawn out struggle with the algorithm I have successfully written the RC4 encryption algorithm in C for use with just about anything!!!

I may have posted this before but here it is again.

You can build your own ciphersaber in just about any language too! PHP, Java, Javascript, etc…

The instructions on how to do it are described here:

Look just under the heading: “Where can I get RC4?”

Anyway, this rocks and I had to share it. I’ve been working really hard on something that didn’t take a crap. Things are looking up!

Phil, this is very, very, very cool. I do NOT like the idea of folks reading my data! And while I cannot write my own encryption program (haven’t had the time or the proper environment to study at all lately) I would like to start using encryption ASAP.

(I dug the part about the Jedi Knights building their own lightsabers.)

Awesome bro, congrats…you’re doing the hard core stuff! Love to talk about it one day if you can peel yourself off for a bit. Lemme know, you have my number. Nice work.
