Crazy Sabres site
This is a huge site…. But some very cool things ahead for me to conquer. They have an online schedule which is maintained via a database, what I have to do is create a custom downloadable file that will import the schedule into Microsoft Outlook calendar and in PDA format. Luckily the MS file format .ics is actually a standard code, can you believe that? Here is what the docs look like. Should be fun considering this really needs to be done in a day!!
ProntoNEO Universal Remote
Now that I’ve set up my multimedia command center, I’ve been shopping for a really kick-ass universal remote control that will do it all for me…DVD, SoundBlaster Platinum, DirecTV box, VCR, all the gear. I’m looking into the ProntoNEO with programmable interface:

Finally got a cool project to do.
Have to get all the dvds from Amazon UK site and store all the results into a database.
Since Amazon has an amazing API built now all I had to do was get a PHP/SOAP Class they recommended here. Hardest part was getting all the Node(Categories) .
Now all the script does is looks at the list of categories which is in a separate array, finds out how many pages of dvds for each category there are, then loops through each page dumping the information into the database. Which obviously takes forever seeing that the 1st category has over 2000 titles alone. If you guys want to check out the code, let me know!
