This is probably a really bad idea, but I’m starting to seriously consider home theater systems. In particular I’m looking at the InFocus Screenplay 5000. Combined with some Screen Goo for my wall, things might get mighty interesting for the Superbowl…
And to be honest, thinking about the PC Gaming/XBox possibilities just makes me completely freak out.

Well I definitely don’t have that kinda cash right now. I’m thinkin maybe if I save up, in a few months I might be able to get into something pretty cool. And yeah, living alone has it’s rewards. But I gotta tell ya man…it’s also mighty quiet.
A guy I used to work with swore by the magic that is the projection-based home theater system. He painted on an 8-foot viewing area and also rigged his PC into it so he could surf the web and play games on his living room wall.
He also never goes out. Never.
I think it rocks. If I ever have the green, I’d love to pick one up.
