This is actually more than a new skin. I have added some new plugins, one is a time hack so lif you look at your post it says “Saturday, August 28th, 2004 by Grendel, terribly early in the morning” just something different. The 2nd one is the Activity section, it shows the lastest activity on our site.
Also includes a new 404 page so try to type is a bad page on snowbrain it will point to this 404 page instead of the page cannot be displayed one. Also check out the urls. They are all utilizing modrewrite which makes our site more search engine friendly. All broken down now by year/month/day/postname.
Lastly, I was doing a lot of maintainance and noticed we had over 100 comments from 2 spammers. The best part about this system is that I can ban by IP,Name,Email pretty much anything. So they have now been added to our shitlist.
Bonus. The guy that created this skin also includes the PSD which is all sliced up. Make any changes you want do a Save for Web, Upload new images… theme done!! I will upload the template so you guys can create something as well. I just grabbed an old SM logo and through it on there..
