Well thanks to the lovely city of NT and their negligence I recieved a nice present ealier Thursday morning.
10″ of water in my basement. They knew we where going to get alot of rain and did not bring out their pumps until 6am thursday instead of sometime wednesday.
The houses on my street all do not have sump pumps since the area is dry. Since they could not control sewers they spewed into our houses. So needless to say I through out ALOT of stuff.
To top it all off, home owners does not cover this due to the fact that there was NO sump pump.
A big FU to the NT Public works.

It was a lot of fun!! I got to watch the kids, clean, watch the kids, watch Nic and rip clean, it was a glorious day between the basement and the bathtub!! rip enjoyed every minute of it, don’t let him fool you. It’s probably the most exercise he’s had in a while, ask him for yourself!! Everything had this nice aroma stemming from it, along with some beautiful shades of green…probably the most unique colors I’ve seen in a long time covered over pretty much the entire basement and all it’s contents. And Rob, at least now your basement is spic and span!! Sorry, I can make jokes, I helped you through it, remember that!!

C128 was fine, the Amiga 500 has perished unfortunately.
Some old parts machines also got ousted as well.
Wanted to clean the basement anyways, but not this way.
