Yup, Broadcast your own collection of Videos online. I managed to stumble on this site and found it very interesting.

I think that for business purposes it would be great. I could create a production video or 3D render and broadcast it to the client for free and full screen with little bandwidth overhead. OR You could broadcast whatever you felt. Like setup a movie of the day kinda thing or whatever and then just give your buddies the link. I personally think its pretty neat.

What do you guys think?

In short, I think this KICKS ASS!

Primarily due to the finite amount of broadcast time on Public Access channels this solution addresses to things.

    1) I can watch some crazy kid’s movie from Aurora, Illinois or anywhere for that matter.
    2) NO CENSORSHIP!!! (unless I didn’t read the fine print yet)

This is something that the networks have been interested in for a while. Who knows, with Grendel Q. Public sticking his neck on the internet chopping block we may see Internet-ready-TV-appliances before the year 2100. :)

    Great find!

I love that it’s Python – the language that refuses to die! How cool! Now, where are those videos of Paul and I in the Cool Room…

Sweet find, dude – this is going to hook into Podcasting and the like very soon, I’m sure.

Python is cool. Maybe one of these days I will be able to work with it since my current job WILL ALLOW me to use it if needed.
This concept is cool, but have a feeling that the FCC will drop a bomb on this service once it blows up!!

Good call Litten. What will be the repercussion? An interesting topic of discussion, for sure.

Oh and Grendel, what happens in the Cool Room, stays in the Cool Room. I’m not sure that all those girls you brought home…

    Forget it. :)

Awesome feedback fellas. When I found it I was amazed. I too say the issues and the future of this concept. The FCC would have a hayday on it. Then again I remember someone saying that this month a lift has been put into place on Broadcasting Internet Radio. We should see many more streaming Radio sites and feeds. I hope that the same thing happens with Video. I mean we also saw that Battlestar Galatica was Torrent’ed by themselves sometimes the day before. They actually showed an increase in watchers. I think that this would be great. For people like me that love Anime and old school Kung Fu shows, I could just catch them with this and watch them straight from Japan instead of waiting 1 to 5 years for an english version.

Thanks for the input fellas. Glad I found something of intrest.
