A friend of mine has been raving about his new I-O Data LinkPlayer for quite some time. Thought I’d share the goods.
I’ve been really into DivX lately (the new codec is SICK – High Def rips look amazing) and have been looking for something that plays divx, mpeg2, vob, cd, dvd, etc. This looks like it might be a serious contender. Coupled with SageTV, it’s got everything I could want in a media hub. Seriously cool toy.

Nice player but for the price you better use the Wireless / HD / and MPEG4 features.. if not then just go buy an Apex.
The whooooole idea is to play Divx from the network through this player in High Def. Yeah, baby…
