Hullo!
No that was not a spelling error. Hullo is a new VoIP application that is in Beta stages right now. However, if the applications claims are true then I think this may be one of the coolest VoIP applications I have seen to date. Here are a few features -

AIC Tribute
Not sure if many of you know, one of my all time favorite bands is Alice in Chains. With the death of Layne Staley many never got the chance to see them live. Well apparently the remaining 3 members decides to start up a tour in tribute to the late Staley and their fans. When I first looked they where not touring anywhere close to my home town, but as of last week they added a ton of new dates and lucky enough they will be in Niagara Falls on 11/4/2006.
I missed the presale tickets by a couple days and now the general admission tickets go on sale this Saturday @ noon. So you can bet your ass, I will be online at 11:59.

Microsoft Announces XNA Game Studio Express
“Talking on the eve of its Gamefest event in Seattle, Microsoft has revealed XNA Game Studio Express, a new product which will allow indie developers and students to develop simultaneously on Xbox 360 and PC, and share their games to others in a new Xbox 360 ‘Creators Club’.”

Looks like Microsoft is ramping up for what will be one of the largest and most vicious console wars to date. This alone would convince me to purchase a 360 over the exorbitantly priced, PS3. Coupled with rumors that Microsoft is also planning project Panorama, a version of Live Arcade for Vista has me lickin’ my chops. There is slight catch, however.
Developers who want to share their homemade beauties with the Xbox 360 base will have to shell out $99 per year to be part of the “Creators Club”. A small price to pay for such a wide audience, IMO.

GOT DAM BAY CONE!!!! This would be thee breakfast beer (next to maybe an oatmeal stout:P). has a nice smoky taste, and a slightly crisp bitter-hop finish. I worked a beer tasting last night and got to pour this and the Dead Guy Ale all night long. Went great with the salted hot pretzles, and the cheese and crackahs!
