Cingular 3125

I just picked up a brand spankin new Cingular 3125 (also called the HTC Star Trek) after my old MPx 220 decided to kick the bucket…

I swung down to the big Cingular store in Times Sq to initially check out the very well rated 2125 Smartphone, and they were all out of stock. Gah! To further add to my angst, the sales rep then brings out this wicked matte black 3125 Smartphone and tells me that they just were released this week (I can’t have one, there’s only like 4 in NYC at this time). Can I wait till next week?

I gave her my card and told her to call me when they came in. Voila – 1 hour later, I get the call and now I’m swingin with this new, super light, Windows Media 5.0 smartphone with a data package and all the trimmings! (Always use the business card – the company name opens doors like a mofo).

I love it. I love it so. And I took today off to unpack and call people.
