Apparently the Open Source community has been working on a Smartphone already, which seems to operate just like the iPhone. This would probably be a lot cheaper and will allow more cell phone manufacturers to produce phones to support this. So lets see where this goes.

This would be an ideal phone for all of the non EDGE network providing companies. If I’m correct this phone has a smaller screen. I do see that this phone does have a micro-SD slot. Now that would have been nice for the iPhone.
