I just discovered this site yesterday. I think its a great idea. But some employees/managers may not accept it. Especially at a shopping club (Sam’s, Costco, etc). I think they want to see and “official” membership card.

nOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Do NOT SUBMIT ALL OF YOUR CARD NUMBERS TO SOME RANDOM SITE ON THE INTERWEB!!! VERRRRY BAAAAD!!!!!!!

    From the guy’s own site:
Assume the data you enter will be used in the worst possible way you can imagine. That way you won’t put yourself at risk.

Good idea. Bad implementation. When we get the chip implants, this will all be redundant anyway… ;)

  2. Yeah…good point. I forgot what info you originally give out to receive those cards in the first place. lesson learned…….Yeah, screw this site man! :)

    Just FYI…

Scan each card in. Make a single layout in Photoshop or any other graphic app. Then print it. Then laminate it. Easy and no website needed.

With this said let me just say this also. I heard of doing this a few month back and considered it, but when i heard that some places would not allow you to do this and refused to scan your card it not being the official card this kinda stopped me from doing it.

But I do have one of the wallets from http://www.endwalletbutt.com/ that works well for making things thin. Had it for like 2 years now.

    just my .02
